Medications

Medications

Patients using medications will be evaluated before a fast as to whether they are able to fast. The history of each patient is unique.

Each person is evaluated on an individual basis for type of fast, length of fast, and food patterns after the fast.

Certain conditions may not allow fasting, and this is determined in the initial interview. Conditions requiring medications may require consent of the patients medical doctor to proceed with a fast without the prescribed medication.
