Planning a Fast
Planning a fast is like planning a vacation. While people do fast while working, to obtain real benefit and healing, it should be undertaken while the patient is able to rest and not have work or other stresses and emotional demands.
A fasting retreat is the ideal way to allow the person to unwind, unplug, and detox. People often develop illness after vacations. Fasting at a retreat can be considered a vacation that results in a higher level of health.
The irony of fasting is one doesn’t do anything on a fast, but it’s impossible to not do anything in work or home environment – something always comes up. Yellowstone Peaks is an ideal location for relaxation, healing and upliftment away from the city, amid spectacular views in the Rocky Mountains. The environment is secluded and private – up to four guests maximum. Rooms are private and there are shared or private living/lounge areas.
Plans may be made for six months or a year in advance. Special cases for more immediate needs can be arranged.
After reviewing your intake information, Dr. Carp will assess your ability to fast, the type of fast, and the ideal length. This will then be discussed in a follow-up phone consultation.
